its a twin turbo that mounts to the exhaust pipes and eliminates the muffles then the tubing goes to the engine because its done like this there is no need for a turbo time and no need for a intercooler. the blow off valve and the turbo sound like a jet

Might sound like a dumb question but does it use the exhaust gas? Even if it just mounts to the exhaust pipes, a person should still use an intercooler b/c true the car would be taking in colder air but it would still be too warm to get full output. And what about filtration.

it uses the exhaust like any other turbo but instead of the mufflers the turbos are there so there is no need for a custom exhaust manifold

I'm not so very up and up on turbos, but isn't putting the turbo further away from the exhaust ports, and intake manifold just going to increase lag. You'd have to mount the filter under the car, or run a long intake to somewhere where it's not going to get drowned next time you drive through a puddle. Sounds like a headache to me.

unlike the guzzy turbo this one is actually real. the lag is not there. typical turbos have a lag because the exhaust air is rerouted to the turbo. but this turbo is mounted directly to the exhaust so it is always spooling

I'm a little confused on this one, every turbo I've ever personally seen is not re routed they are connected directly inline of the exhaust header (I'm only really farmiliar with the DSM's and I've seen a handful of older hondas set up this way). All of your exhaust has to pass through your turbo unless the wastgate is activated, which done right should be welded to dump back into the exhaust somewhere after the turbo. if the turbo were say attatched right before or after a muffler you should still need a wastegate. I dunno perhaps I'm overthinking this, or missing something.

What i mean by rerouted is that a typical turbo is bolted on a exhaust manifold. This is were the exhaust is forced back to the turbo to spool it up. This turbo eliminates the muffler and the turbo itself is the muffler. then it pushes the air back up to the engine bay. if you go to the website and look at the pics you can seen the way they routed everything and understand it a little better. my explanation skills are a little lacking.

Thats alot of piping and shit to get the flow back to the engine bay. And i still don't understand how this would help the forced induction with the turbo back there.

I guess the turbo would run cooler because it's not sitting right next to the engine, but thats what intercoolers are for, I still don't see it necessary to run your turbo all the way back there. If you don't want your mufflers to restrict things, just run a traditional turbo setup and run straight pipes, or highflow glass packs. My $0.02 but to each his own.
